We've already told you about the recent AMA with survival horror developer DayZ Standalone, Dean Hall. And during this event, Dean also touched on games like RUST and Project Zomboid . He revealed that DayZ is not going to compete with these games.
When asked about how the developers will keep the interest in DayZ going, Dean said the need to provide a survival atmosphere (hunting, etc).
“The DayZ project has already won everything it needs. Now we just have to make a good game. You don't have to think about sales anymore. You can fully focus on improving DayZ. ”
