Rust - A fire destroyed some of the European servers. Data is irretrievably lost

British Facepunch will have to distract from the recently launched PTA of the console version of the survival simulator Rust  and deal with the consequences of the emergency.

There was a fire this morning at the OVH data center in Strasbourg, France. None of the employees were injured, but the fire completely destroyed one building (SBG-2) and partially the second (SBG-1). Firefighters are now working at the scene. Including disabled 25 European Rust servers.

The studio expects a large amount of data loss and promises to provide details at a later date. On PC, the game went into early access back in 2013, and a full release took place in 2018.

Rust: Console Edition is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this year.
